These are three related issues.

  1. The issue raised when implementing the Custom CSS code for the shrinking header. Witch works fine in general.

2. But using it, let appear the rightest element of the menu on first load in a second row. Switching from the full screen mode to window mode and back let it appear in one row as it should be.

  1. In order to fix this issue, I changed the width of the menu from inline auto to custom width 100%. This workaround works fine on a Pixel 6 mobile in Chrome and Firefox mobile as well. But on desktop, when reducing the window size to mobile width , the elements are displayed one over the other.

So hopefully you can help me to fix the second issue or at least the third issue.
